Creator, Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy (EDIT)™
Founder and President, EDIT™ Training Institute LLC

Eating Disorder Certification Program | EDIT Certified | Dr Dorie (1)

I’m atop “9-Mile Mountain” in Winter Park, CO with a group of EDIT™ Certified participants at an in-person retreat.

Eating Disorder Certification Program | EDIT Certified | Dr Dorie (2)

We’re pausing to discuss a Wilderness Therapy activity, which is one of my favorite parts of in-person retreats.

Hi, I'm Dr. Dorie!

Eating Disorder Certification Program | EDIT Certified | Dr Dorie (3)

I know what it’s like to struggle with eating disorders. I also know how to be free!

I learned five keys to recovery on my own journey, which are now an integral part of the EDIT™ approach.

When you become EDIT™ Certified, you’ll discover tools and techniques to teach the EDIT™ Principles to your clients. You’ll also be encouraged to live these principles in your own life – since we can best teach what we practice ourselves.

EDIT™ also involves shifting from the eating disorder mindset (ED) to what I call the wisdom of one’s “inner healer” or Intuitive Therapist (IT). Being in nature enhances our intuitive abilities, so I’m outside as often as I can be – you’ll often find me hiking in the mountains of Colorado!

I’ve incorporated a “mountain theme” as I describe the five levels of EDIT™ Certified in the sections below. Don’t worry – you don’t really have to climb a mountain. But if you attend a LEVEL IV RETREAT, you’ll have that opportunity!

Let’s journey together to the summit of your success!
